I will not belabor my experience of seeing New Moon for the first time, since I’m sure there are loads of “Twi-hards” out there blogging about it in much more chisely, sparkly detail. Suffice it to say there’s enough sparkliness and rock hard ab-ness to make you momentarily want to be 17 again (until you come to your senses after the “six-pack” effect wears off). I had the same reaction to the movie as I did the book – not nearly enough Edward. As to why a thirty-something intelligent woman with a beautiful family who is currently reading Franny and Zooey would be so into the Twilight series? This Washington Post article, says it all! I confess: I’m twitarded.
So this “Twitard” is signing off for the night hoping to have sweet dreams of a sparkling hottie in flowered meadows telling me I’m perfect.
