Gratitude List for the week ending March 13th
- Cashing in on the spa day that Phil got me for Christmas
- Phil taking care of the kids the evening after the spa day so I could go stay with my Mom
- My mom for cooking for me and watching two episodes of Grey’s with me.
- SLEEPING IN the next morning.
- Jay saying to me, “Mommy when I grow up, I’m going to marry you.”
- Em’s fantastic report card and even better parent-teacher conference
- One extra hour of daylight each day!! Spring Forward!
- Joining an online critique group – I need one!
- Finding an awesome dog trainer for Rocky – He needs one!
- Another great meeting of the Margareaders
What are you grateful for this week?
Hi Julie – Your week sounds great – and such a fantastic way to view it rather than getting bogged down with the hard stuff! This week I am thankful for:-
1. It was Mothering Sunday in the UK and my family really pulled the stops out without spending a penny – home-made gifts, breakfast in bed, and a lovely walk (my favourite thing), where we saw our first butterfly of the year and a kingfisher flashing along the riverbank!
2. (Nearly) Perfect skin – after over a year of treatment, I can now start planning my swimming regime again!!
3. A visit from my best friend and her baby daughter to look forward to next week.
4. The love of a good man!
