Gratitude Sunday 3

March 14, 2010 by Julie

Time for Week 3 in the Gratitude Sunday series.

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.“ — Ralph Waldo Emerson

“We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.” — Cynthia Ozick

“If you want to turn your life around, try thankfulness.  It will change your life mightily.” — Gerald Good

Hi Julie – Your week sounds great – and such a fantastic way to view it rather than getting bogged down with the hard stuff! This week I am thankful for:-

    1. It was Mothering Sunday in the UK and my family really pulled the stops out without spending a penny – home-made gifts, breakfast in bed, and a lovely walk (my favourite thing), where we saw our first butterfly of the year and a kingfisher flashing along the riverbank!
    2. (Nearly) Perfect skin – after over a year of treatment, I can now start planning my swimming regime again!!
    3. A visit from my best friend and her baby daughter to look forward to next week.
    4. The love of a good man!

Hope you enjoyed your spa day – and that next week is just as good :-) )

This is a very belated Happy Mothering Sunday. It sounds like you had a fabulous one and very well deserved!

Also, have a great time with your friend. It’s always so comforting to visit with old friends. And thank YOU for sharing what you are thankful for. These posts are really about sharing our gratitude and making it grow.
